The Commack fire was in a small extension to the school on the exposure 4 side of the building units that responded were engines 2, 4, 11, 12, 13 rescue 9 quint 14 chiefs 30, 31, 31 & 2-8-32 ( who works for the Commack school district).

Commack FD responded to Burr Rd and Larkfield for an O/T auto. Minor injuries were reported and victim was quickly extricated. Dix Hills also had an overturned landscaping truck at Round Hill Rd and Wolf Hill Road. 1 person was also trapped and quickly removed. EMS transported 2 with minor injuries
