Did the SCFD feed change a little? Its seems like you don't hear the 1st or 2nd Div. departments switching down to 46.34? Just curious..is there anyway you can get the SCFD coverage that the NC/SC FD feed (when it works) gets? I am down here in Fl. and grateful for you site, keep up the good work!!!!

W2lie, scantone is looking for the reed filters to trip his scanner as the tones do the company pagers. Nassau nor suffolk publicize this information. Speak to a member of that dept for info. Great job ont he heads up for the Bethpage person under a train! Nice tip off on here.

scantone, please post your feed questions into the forums, so they don't accidently roll off the chatbox window (and then lost!) Luke is right, but also check my freq list, and see if I have W.H.F.D. loaded correctly. You may see some improvement this summer, when I reconfig the antenna system.

To answer the west hempstead question, they may have a low power transmitter or its not repeated. Some depts have their transmitters on high points such as water towers around town and others have it on their firehouse. As for the trip numbers for tone-outs, having access to these numbers can give people easy access to trip a departments tones and activate pagers. You dont want that capability in the hands of civilians.
