News item posted For the 7th year running, you will be able to listen on line to the Air Show at Jones Beach at w2lie.net. The audio will be running on my "Specialty" feed.The frequency list for 2012 Jones Beach Air Show has been posted. Please visit [link] for the full list. If you see a frequency or performer who isn't listed, please forward me the info.The live feed is will be launched on May 21th - so that you may hear some of the performers come into Republic Airport (Farmingdale, NY).I will also be archiving the audio from the air show, and hope to put it on line when I get a chance.73 - and Happy Listening!Phil / w2lie

I Have Been notified thru a Friend that the Blue Angles Have Come in This Morning into Republic Airport
But Due to the Weather i,m Not Sure if There Gonna do any Practice Sessions
The Weather Predictions Arer Calling for Cloudy Skys and RAIN till Late Friday Evening
But the Weekend Forcast is All GOOD...SUNNY and Clear for the Show |

Reminder, If you just want to listen to the air show, use the Special feed. If you need to control the radio, you can use the PCR-1000. For casual listening, the special feed is probably the best. I can hear activity on the Blue Angel Ground Freq of 346.500AM

Scanner is locking on the Air Boss Frequency of 128.250. Moved it to its own bank with a delay time of -10 seconds. This should push the radio off that freq after 10 seconds if it locks up there again (even if there is something going on)
