If Anything Don--Iwould Say its Common Sense They Will Install Radios/Frequencies Allowcated to them For Comm Liknks to the Main Hqtrs---as of Now I Have Been Hearing the Usual Txmissions on alot of the LIPA Freqs ...Doubt That will Change

If Anyything Maybe a Link or Freqs Added on the Site for PSE&G Since they Are Our New Electric Providers

PSEG and National Grid have a plethora of frequencies...

They use a lot in the 150s range they also have a bit of frequencies in the 450s but from what I understand that is what their truck computers/ gps operate on and no voice is heard
I belive they have a 900mhz trunked system as well in Suffolk...

As Nawton said 158.175 and 158.220 is electrical ops for Nassau
mostly comms about electrical work is heard - stuff about transformers, pole numbers, manholes ,etc
and 158.160 is the same thing I think but for Suffolk...

there is also a island wide frequency of 173.300 that is used for the power plants to contact each other

This is what I have in my 996XT:

Elect. Svce. 153.5150 100.0PL
Elect. Svce. 153.7100 100.0PL
Elect. Svce. 158.1600 100.0PL
Elect. Svce. 158.2350 100.0PL
Elect. Svce. 158.6800 100.0PL
Meter Svces. 161.4150 100.0PL
Substations 173.3000 100.0PL

I don’t keep written track, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything on the gas service frequency. I do hear activity on 173.3000 and sometimes on 156.1600 but not much if anything on the others.

I found out about the 900 system from the Fordyce site [link] - I know that site is older then dirt but some of the stuff on their still seems to hold up...

I searched around with some of those frequencies and it seems to be licensed under "FCI 900 Inc." which from what I understand is a company that kind of "leases" radios to outfits like utility companies...

I have never tried to program this system but here are the licenses they all come back to Suffolk... [link] [link] [link]

I know that Jim Fordyce closed up shop so to speak on his site ages ago but as you said some of that stuff is still active, problem is knowing what's still good and what's ancient history. I'll try programming-in a 900Mhz system just for kicks and see what happens.
