What's the other freq your hearing fres calls on?

Ahh, just heard Bayshore and Kings Park get toned out on 460.3. I am watching all 3 trunked systems and so far don't see a connection..

No, 0 is not a valid talkgroup ID. In what context are you seeing a TGID of 0?

I see tg 0 in unitrunker all the time. Not sure if its a unitrunker thing or not, but, I do not see a tg of 0 listed in dsd .

Also, most of the newer tg's on the new system are not consistent. I run the p25 against the smartzone and will here a few 3rd pct calls on p25, then they stop but keep going on the 800. Command band is on and off. Same with the 7th pct. Not 24/7. That's why I have not reported many findings until I notice it's not on smartzone anymore or is 24/7 simulcast. Tg 85 has been on and off for about a week.

Tg 22005 is some kind of new med dispatching that's not on the 800 system and only seen on site 4. They are using Suffolk Fire codes.

Tg 22005 = 352080 (on 800 smartzone) and the highest smartzone tg is 65488. I have not seen any tg on at the same time as 22005 is active.

Site 3 is pretty dead except for an occasional radio test or a radio denial. Tg 6301 seems to maybe FRES related and has only been seen (at least by me) on site 3.

I hear suffolk dispatches on 464.200 PL 77.0 and 478.325 DPL 331 as well
Im not sure if its an actual simulcast or only certain depts are heard toning out
Both freqs are licensed to commercial radio companies [link] [link]
Also i have been hearing those for at least in the past year or so

Its interesting that literally just in the past week i have noticed the activity on 460.300 PL 67.0 and now a FRES talk group appears on the P25 system

talk group id 0 popped up in unitrunker. i have an idea of who maybe using 6301 but its used so infrequent i haven't been able to confirm if its a second channel for MacArthur crash fire rescue and yes I've only seen it on site 3 700mhz. as far as command and any precinct on site 4 800mhz p25 you will only here it if there's a radio affiliated to the talk group on site 4. the only full time talk groups right now are transit, Southampton village, hospital south &north, medcom east & west. I cant tell if the fres dispatch is full time cause its not very active generally on either analogue or digital

If you see a 0 for the Source or Target in Unitrunker, it's something other than a talkgroup. Often you'll see a 0 when the system is denying a radio (registration or affiliation) for whatever reason (invalid ID, insufficient permissions, etc.) You might also see a 0 as the Source ID if a console patch is being used in certain configurations.

If you could give specific examples of when you see a 0 in a field in Unitrunker, I can give you a better explanation of what is going on. But 0 is definitely not a valid ID for either a talkgroup or a subscriber, so it's indicating something else.

Any talkgroups with an ID of 4095 or higher will be exclusive to the P25 system. SmartZone systems are only capable of 4094 talkgroups (1-65504 in Type II format, or 1-FFE in HEX).

That's normal in Unitrunker. It's not a valid talkgroup, just a place holder for certain system activity. Similar to how TGID 65536 is a placeholder for the BSI, not an actual talkgroup.
