Hawk, when tg 141 is active, what does it show in your source column? I and seeing rid of 0.

Hmm, a dash in the SVC column basically means that Unitrunker couldn't determine what type of call it was, meaning it could be an invalid entry. If the control channel signal is kind of weak, you're likely to see bad decodes. I'm not saying it's 100% bad decodes, but if it were a legitimate call, you would've seen something like 4 or P4 or Dat in that SVC column, not a -

I believe you're running UT v2, based on your post history in the Google group. If you are seeing a 0 in the Source column for nearly every voice call on that TG, that normally indicates a console patch is in place. In this case, likely a patch between 155.280 conventional and TG 141 trunking, through one of the system consoles. That would explain the 0 Source ID, as ASTRO 25 systems do not encode the ID of the console with patches like that.

Yep, that is indeed a console patch from conventional to trunking.

Originally, DSD+ didn't handle those patches well, until I alerted the DSD+ authors of these types of ASTRO 25 console patches (which we started doing on our system a few years ago), so they updated the software to display EXTERNAL. I personally would've used a word that more clearly describes what is happening, but at least they fixed the main issue with the patches. Meh.

DSDPlus does not log anything in the radios file as EXTERNAL is not a valid rid.

Anyone have any word on who exactly will utilize the site 4 800 simulcast? Seeing a bunch of group not ready and channel resource not available. Seems like it's getting crowded. Looks like Command band has priority as I have see bus tg change to command band during transmissions.

Heading towards Port Jeff and will see if those freqs are active. Do see a bunch of log-ins and what not on site 3 700 but not really any voice.

Just curiuos what the overall plan might be.

unitrunker isn't showing a source id for tg 141. as far as i know everything thats currently on the 800 type 2 system will be on site 4 800mhz p25. the 700mhz site 3 will be used for fire departments that want to use the county system for there department dispatch traffic with 700mhz conventional channels being fire ground ops. also herd some traffic on 22005, "dispatch 7-18-18 signal 5" and also " 30 dispatch we will be signal 5 no patient found".
