at this point, i am keeping a log of every frequency being used for the control channel.
todays CC frequency is 772.2812.5 Mhz.
the same rebroadcast of the 3rd PCT @ ID 6257 or just silence with an idle CC

You shouldn't need a bandplan.  All of that information is transmitted over the data channel.  The scanner should be able to just listen to the control channel and figure out where to go from there.

Still confused as to why it its the 3rd pct instead of units in the yapank area. I am in the third and have to use an amp to pull that site in...

right now the only activity on the system is the 3rd prct being patched over from the 800mhz system. The only time the patch is active is when a radio from tech services affiliates with the new system. However this maybe changing in the near future. the mount misery site is now active.

so to answer my original question, being that the system is still in building/testing phase and not all CC radio sites are up and running at once, the current CC transmission is coming from that location in MT Misery ?
i dont know member "Dave3825us" location but judging from his response, i would say it appears only one or two radio sites are up and active at the moment unless other members can gauge other site locations that are active.
so if this is indeed true, then the antenna/amplifier setup i have here would be working quite well for that distance (RT 110 & NSP to my receiver location in hampton bays) however, i have doubts that i would actually be receiving that radio site from that far of a location though i am able to receive P25 800Mhz CT state police as well as NJ power trunk system and some low powered single trunk systems in suffolk originating from the bald hill site.
i believe what i am receiving is most likely originating from yaphank or from manorville.
basically, im trying to gauge my reception performance from my location.
i dont remember the manufacturer name or exact gain but its a omnidirectional dual band 700/800Mhz high gain antenna used in commercial applications (used on towers), quite the large and heavy antenna requiring special large steel mounting brackets, not exactly the easiest to mount to my chimney due to the weight and size but it appears to work quite well.
