As far as i know Selden, Stony Brook Hospital and Northport VA Hospital are the only sites not online yet. As far as anything new with the system, nothing yet.

i tend to believe there are more sites not online since reception is quite poor towards the east end of suffolk on the south shore.
either way you look at it, they are way past the target date of completion that they expected to have this system fully up and running.
could it be budgetary issues ?
could it be unexpected, unforeseen issues integrating with the current communication system ?
one cant help but wonder what the problem and slowdown is after all of this money has been "thrown" at a communication systems "upgrade" that is supposed to rival that of the current analog system.
a few sites online simulcasting a precinct does not qualify as an "upgrade" in my opinion.

Was searching around & came upon 852.225 a P25 control channel. It's strong here in N Babylon.

New license just went active on 10/18/16. WQYJ627 licensed to SCPD. Repeater locations in North Lindenhurst at the 1st PCT, and Port Jefferson. 10 repeater freqs.
Licensed for P25 Phase 1 & 2.

It's strange because the license is for "SUFFOLK CITY POLICE DEPT." not Suffolk County. Maybe just a typo.

I've got it set-up on the 536HP. I'm getting TG 3111 which is a 1st PCT P25 re-broadcast from the 800 system. I believe it's Phase 1 P25.

Anyone with additional info?

There was some work on my server today. My reply and Dave's reply are missing from the thread.

It looks like the information above is for Site 6. It doesn't look to be patched in at this time to the main system, and the 1st Precinct talk group is not simulcasting.

I've added the new site and the talk group to Radio Reference's database. This should now allow you to import via Sentinel and your favorite "XT" flavor programming software.

What was in my reply was the fact that if you look at all the contact info for the existing 800 and the 4 700 mhz licenses, all the info points to Yaphank and 631 area code numbers.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Suffolk County is submitting a request to extend our construction build out deadline for call sign
WQWS812.
This call sign is part of a larger system with call signs WQVX713 which construction was
completed on, WQWS812 (this call sign) which is delayed , and WQWS815 which construction is
in progress on.
Suffolk County is implementing this system due to the upcoming T-Band Frequency give back
requirements. This system is intended to allow Fire, Rescue, and Law Enforcement agencies to
communicate together where they are currently using disparate T-Band systems.
We are respectfully requesting the construction requirements be extended. There have been
logistical issues which have prevented the County from completing the build out date in the one
year requirement.
Thank you in advance for your consideration regarding this matter. Should you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Respectfully,
Michael Postel
Communications Systems Director

So today I am getting nothing on the new license. The old one, WQVX713, that I was barely getting, is coming in 100 percent today on cc 772.91875. They either turned up the power or maybe Hauppauge is finally online or something at the 3rd pct
