There is already a new Nassau county UHF 46.10 replacement, not just an X-band. Currently Roslyn, carle place, inwood & woodmere use it. I'm sure there are others aswell, unless they plan to change that again, but that frequency has been up and in use for a while now.
This is primarily for Firecom - 453.325 will be for other departments to use |

Thats right - i forgot 453.325 was a 46.10 cross band at one time so i guess that explains the repeaters...

The only dept. I've heard recently using 460.35 for fireground is Williston Park. I'd be interested if anyone has heard others.
The dept. you've heard tone out on 453.325 is probably Hewlett. |

Several departments use this freq as their primary F/G such as- East Williston, Freeport, Williston Park, Farmingdale, Glenwood and many others I cannot think of off the top of my head. |

Definitely Freeport and maybe Roosevelt Seems like any dept that was previously using 453.325 has made the switch over Nice to see several FD using a common freq its very important in regards to interop
