 The Barclays is underway at Bethpage Golf Course in Farmingdale, NY.
The "Special" feed is currently active scanning NCPD Ops, Town of Oyster Bay, NYSPD, NY Parks PD, as well as Nassau County OEM, and a few PGA Golf Frequencies.
In addition to the live audio, we are now testing ProScan with this feed. Users of ProScan can view the activity by using the following information:
Click on the "Remote Scanner over IP Tab"
In the Mode Section: Click "Client"
server: remote.w2lie.net
port: 5000
You may download the "ProScan Free Client 5.5" from this link: [link] There is no user fee to use this program to connect to the W2LIE Barclays stream, or any other ProScan stream.
Remote control has been disabled on the W2LIE.net ProScan server.
The trade-off for now is that we had to pull the PCR-1000 offline to make room to test ProScan.

I Was Listening to the Special Event Feed This Morning (10:18)am this is what i Heard
Spanish Speaking Cab Company
Data Lock-up a Few Times--Heavy at Times
Some sort of People with Russian or Polish Language
2 / 8th Nassau P.D.
Golf Course Maintainence Personell asking for Additional Ropes for the 17th Green Area
I Dont Have Alpha Tags to Let You Know What Channels this was All On (sry)

try listening with winamp or itunes. Alpha tags are enabled on this feed and should work on both those players.
OR - try downloading ProScan 5.5 from the link above and you can 'see' the scanner. |

The Barclay Golf Tournament starts up again this week at the Bethpage Golf Course. If I can get a live feed going for the event I will launch it under the /Special feed.
For those logging activity, please continue to use this thread. Obviously, NCPD will be shutting down the area and all of their activities will be on the encrypted talk groups on the county P25 system. |
