The Long Beach DMR system TG 500 is definitely used by Long Beach public works at least some of the time this i have confirmed however a better time to confirm snow plow / DPW type agencies is during a storm and whatnot
I know the license is not licensed for DMR or trunking but i have found licenses can be inaccurate at times either that or the agencies simply "do what they want" regardless of what the license says OR they may not even realize/havent updated the license since the changes...

The Smithtown 453.850 is intresting
It looks like the repeater is indeed licensed for 1 watt
However what would usually be the repeater input(458.850) is licensed for 45 watts
Again this definitely looks like a mistake on the license

Also it looks like a couple school districts have recently got some new Nexedge licenses
West Hempstead [link] as well as Plainview/Old Bethpage [link]

Does seem weird that the inputs are higher than the outputs. The fcc is full of many errors. Listen, as soon as I get a moment, I will plug the smithtown freqs into my scanner and see what transpires.

Yeah, its a free for all. Town of Islip is running dmr cap plus on their freqs that are licensed as conventional.

And don't forget new Drm licenses for schools.

I've been hearing digital noise at the tail end of each transmission as it sneaks past the squelch on my scanner for a long time on North Bellmore's dispatch frequency.

I'm going to assume that Smithtown is in no way operating at 1w on 453.850.

For what it is worth - Smithtown FD 460.5125 is shared by Wantagh - and uses the same DPL tone (466). Smithtown is definitely not set for the FCC ERP on that one as well !

Lawrence schools DMR freq i confirmed its in the RRDB - not to sure about the other schools and what is "Cambria" ?

It does seem that on the Smithtown license they may have mixed up the repeater input and output power levels - but i cant even see how even a repeater input/mobile/portable radio could be only 1 watt most of the time they are at least around 5 watts...

151.895 NAC 732 Encrypted

155.055 CC 8 TG 10001 SL 1 - This was active during the blizzard i didnt get a good decode but it may be Long Beach snow plows [link]

451.425 CC 1 TG 1011 SL1 I confirmed this is the Cedar Creek water plant in wantagh it was run by Nassau County for years but i think they may have privatized it now not sure the name of that company but the freq is licensed under Goosetown [link]

451.7125 This may be used by Westbury schools i get a strong DMR signal in that area [link]

452.125 DMR This may be used by Kellenberg school [link] i get a strong signal nearby that area as well but i didnt have anything to decode DMR

452.4875 DMR not sure where this could be coming from but i only got hits on this going more north in Nassau could be either one of these - [link] [link] I actually get the stronger signal closer to the East Williston schools

461.65625 RAN 4 Most likely Plainview schools [link]

462.225 CC 13 TG 456669 & TG 63453 SL 1 Encrypted

Nice Job finding Cedar Creek Plant. They had a few TG's on the county EDACS system and I know they moved once they were sold by the county.

I would love to find where NICE went. They too have been moved off of the EDACS system once the county sold them off.

Yeah they must have been using the DMR freq for at least a year because i think it was about a year ago or so they disappeared from the EDACS system
I just happend to be searching around for random frequencies and stumbled across the Goosetown license
Makes me wonder if the county will get or already have a contract with Goosetown which is one of the companys who run Onevoice then again that wouldnt really matter if its a private company who is now running Cedar Creek

The NICE Buses im really not sure of
Theres some buses on Onevoice as well as the Nexedge system which seem to be school buses but with buses its not always clear if their school buses, or transit or both
Also it appears theres a freq for the Bay Park plant as well but i havent confirmed anything for that yet

462.125 CC 4 TG 5 Slot 1 is apparently a commercial repeater owned by a company called "CRNET"
WQYW589 [link]
As far as who uses this freq im not exactly sure - it is a bit active and there seems to be somewhat of a radio club on there at times
