I havent got any voice yet but i see it is in the RRDB
Just cc/data bursts about every 10-15 seconds so far
I dont understand why someone would submit that with no confirmed TG or slot however...

As for 478.2875 i did a bit more in depth searching and i havent found anything licensed for DMR in the entire country...

I got activity on 464.1125
It was encrypted NXDN RAN 17 TG 10101
Aliases "RN-28 RN-50 RN-51 RN-114"

It could very well be the community watch thing - the phone number on that license comes back to "Rockaway Nassau Safety Patrol" [link]
I would guesstimate despite being encrypted that the "RN" alias could stand for "Rockaway Nassau"...

Very interesting. Guess even the neighborhood watch does not want to be heard.

As for 478.2875, try looking up that freq in Massachusetts. Looked at the vhf propagation map and that showed Nassau to Massachusetts. I know its a Uhf freq, but did not find a UHf map yet..

I used to use this one but I think it's just VHf. I am not really sure.

I searched again - nothing licensed for DMR on 478.2875 in the whole country
Even expired
So whoever is using this freq is not properly licensed for the DMR emission which is not uncommon...

In Suffolk the other day i got NXDN bursts on 464.025
Just a quick burst every 10-15 seconds or so
Most likely could be Smithtown schools [link]

I did not have the SDR with me at the time however

I also was getting a strong DMR signal on 461.200 in that area
I did not yet find any relevant license for 461.200 in suffolk...

461.200 is my sdr research group. I caught cc1 slot 2 encrypted. Where in Suffolk did you get this hit?

464.025 is in that research group as well. I was gettin nxdn too.

WQXQ577 POSILLICO new grant 7K60FXW (Nassau and suffolk)
WPTV311 - FORDHAM UNIVERSITY 7K60FXE, 7K60FXD (not in suffolk)

But they are not listed as nxdn.

The WQSU246 link you posted does reflect nxdn but it lists it as conventional. I am not sure if conventional nxdn uses bursts or not. I will spin my moxon to the North next week when schools open again.

I might try looking in a little bit when dsdplus is free. Right now, I have dsd running on United States Air Force (3D6)
Running it on the Sheppard Air Force Base site located in Wichita, TX.

I am in East Islip..

NXDN conventional repeaters may use periodic bursts much like conventional DMR repeaters
Trunked would use a dedicated control channel which is a constant burst

I was in Brentwood when i got those hits so 461.200 could be Pilgrim but they dont have the DMR emission on the license
