Anyone in Suffolk get -
464.475 CC 11 TG 9920 SL 1
and
464.525 CC 10 TG 9918 SL 2 ?

Judging by the similar TG # im thinking these may be related - possibly something to do with Newsday? [link]

Not sure what 464.525 is but the 464.475 TG 9920 seems to be possibly building maintenance talking about cleaning cafeterias etc...

Not sure of slot or cc but 464.475 and 464.525 were 2 Newsday freqs. The first one was used by the production dept (pressroom, collating and plateroom) and the second was used by transportation. Newsday is no longer producing any papers anymore. All being done by the Times.

I know a few people that are still there and all the press equipment and collating equipment are being removed and other things like the many Quipp Stackers, Dynaric Strapping Machines, pallet lifts, hi lo's, worksavers, jogging tables and the robots, well that stuff was being auctioned off maybe a month ago.

Going to have a listen during the week. Outside company was handling the scrap removal and another company was handling the auction. Things may have changed since I left in 2009 but the pressroom, collating and transportation were the primary users of the radios.Building maint and security used radios also.

Thanks for the info Dave
Being that Newsday and Cable/Optimum are subsidiaries i wonder if it could be cable who is using the Newsday freqs
I have a few of the mobile news freqs down as possibly being used by cable on analog
They also possibly have a simulcast Cap+ system out of their Bethpage office [link]
462.1125 CC 7
464.5875 CC 10
463.6625 may also be a part of this but i cant find where i have a CC wrote down
Strong DMR signal on all 3 freqs near bethpage

Here are a few other unconfirmed cap+ systems -

Possible connetquot schools [link]
462.450 CC 1
463.8375 CC 2
464.6375 CC 3
464.9625 CC 1

Possible Freeport schools [link] [link]
463.375 CC 11
463.7875 CC 11
464.5875 CC 11
(463.7875 is also part of the Jetblue cap+ system at JFK but its CC5 and they have no DMR emission [link]

Possible Town of Babylon [link]
453.950 CC 5
460.200 CC 5
472.9625 CC 5

unknown possible "Marcus Spectrum" out of CT [link] [link]
461.4875 CC 5
463.2125 CC 0
Im not sure if a Cap+ freq can have a 0 CC - if not then disregard...

Lol Not yet. Kinda pissed as we went out to Democrat point today, and forgot scanner. Then went to look at boat ramps on the north shore, and forgot to stop home and grad the scanner. Was over in Smithtown, Port Jeff and Fort Salonga. Wanted to see if that last set of 700 freqs was in use yet around Port Jeff. And tomorrow looks to be the only nice day out of the week and my little guy wants to learn how to surf cast. I really want to bring the spyverter and long wire and scan for hf but the little guys needs come before mine. I will get over there during the week. I know I used to listen to Nesday ops when I was off. Came in pretty good in East Farmingdale..

On the encrypted 463.6875 something happened in the event log called a "Remote dekey"
First time ive seen this

Also im getting what seems to be a Nexedge control channel on 464.24375
Signal was rather weak so did not decode a network ID or RAN
The closest licenses i could find for this freq is either out of Bethpage [link]
or MA [link]
