This was an actual NYPD PBA provided ambulance to transport post injury MOF's to clinic & rehab appointments until the NYPD police surgeons either cleared them for return to full duty status or signed them off for 3/4th medical retirement.

Funny i was just thinking about this the other day - what cars did NYPD have in the day besides Impalas and it came to me after a while - Plymouth Furys/Chrysler New Yorkers

Going way back with the cool pics of the old 2 tone green/white cars
Good stuff

Throughout the decades the big 3 had just about every model of Chrysler, Chevrolet & Ford Motor company product, even some Pontiacs. The Kojack Buick as a registered unmarked MT Pool RMP was a myth.
