I have to ask, where is everyone? Like everyday there is a new member or two joining, yet no posts. Now the big guy is in town and no posts. What is up? One would think that with 11000 members this site should a little more active.

Not sure of anyone else - but i can say for myself that in general i get tied up with other things in the summer spending more time outside,etc so less time to deal with computers inside and whatnot  but yes it does seem theres little posts as compared to the amount of members - some people are just shy i guess..

| Like it or not, forums have been upstaged by Facebook, Twitter and GroupMe. There are GroupMe groups dedicated to real time emergency calls, fire buffs, police buffs, EMS, Dispatching, Amateur Radio, Aviation, Marine, Radio frequencies and repeaters. You name it! |

Yes, unfortunately a fact of life...
But don't worry Dave, things are moving in a good direction with this site and things to come. I'm hoping to become more mobile friendly by years end and the hope is it might drive the activity up a bit. |

Yeah, I know.
I've been busy with other projects. Fulfilling orders for pagers over at EastCoastPagers, still doing the programming thing over at Monitor Long Island, and now doing a weekly podcast at Scanner School.
I have bee working on moving the website over to wordpress, which is why I never really updated the banners here. They are hard coded in and a PITA to start pulling.
Unfortunately - this 'move' is taking a lot longer, and you'll see why when I update the roadmap thread next.
So - there is a lot of behind the scenes movements - unfortunately W2LIE . net one is just getting less time than it deserves. |
