If anyone is interested in trying lrrp.exe that's in dsdplus, CRNET INC 462.125 WQYW589 SELDEN has it going. Was watching the gps updates on the map as he was driving yesterday..

Just load anything that can feed dsd the signal from 462.125. Start dsd then start LRRP.xex. When map comes up, hit ? for commands.

Ive used LRRP before - not on this particular freq but it does work
Its basically GPS but im not sure if you need to be connected to the internet or not to see the map positions?
Intresting tool
Yes this "CRNET" is quite active - i havent heard anything very intresting yet however
Im guessing they are some type of radio club ?...

B Y O R Bring your own radio and only 50.00 a year. Sounds kinda cool. No mention of having to be licensed.

The Hempstead DMR system uses ARS/LRRP, etc
Sometimes it will show vehicle speed along with longitude/latitude and map location
But again im not sure if the internet connection is required or not
Im thinking it is because LRRP downloads the map from the net- i could be mistaken...
