If someone in CT was picking this up, the transmitter may actually be somewhere on or close to the north shore of Suffolk

| Has anyone out in Nassau had any hits on any of the freqs listed? I might be going to Levitown in a few days. I know a spot where my 436 picks up metro 25 so maybe I might get to see it. |

| Took the laptop and airspy to Farmingdale a few days ago and did not get anything on the freqs listed in the database. I hope to make it to Levittown this week and will try from there. |

Just a Note--I Used to hang on Patton ave just Off Wellwood by the cemetary to do amateur hf and listen to anything coming into the scanner---that area is wide open with nothing in the way as of bldgs and such--would be a good spot for you guys to check out for your searches

@ ipfd. I was able to get metro25 from new highway next to republic..
@darkstar, did you receive anything?
I was out in Westbury yesterday and could not pick up a signal with the freqs listed in the database.. |

I have searched 700mhz several times in various locations in Nassau and still nothing
If the person who originally received this was in a part of CT, im thinking now it may have been just a distant location in CT
Im pretty sure the MTA would have sites there as well

Yeah, I am thinking its not on Long Island. Will be going thru NYC in the next few weeks and will bring sdr# and try to pinpoint it. Or I may just bring my ant amp next time in Levittown.
Found something there today not related to MTA but can not get vac or vb cable to install on the win 10 laptop. Might have to create an op25 file and try that. Vb says administrator and I right click and choose run as admin and it says cant install, and says to run as admin. WT% |

It's definitely on the air, perhaps in NYC at the moment for testing. Picking it up from NE NJ, so highly unlikely that it's located in CT (also wouldn't make sense according to the MTA's plan for the system)
