That’s the new UHF west paging freq. Sometimes no PL is used for alerting freqs. Time will tell. The UHF east freq is the same as Nassau Firecom’s new UHF paging freq 453.875 |

Sounds like right now they are repeating 46.46 traffic. I can hear most of the depts that self dispatch as well. |

Sounds like 462.9875 is now actively being used for toneouts by Fire Com. I even heard Southold toned out, so I wonder weather this is just the west frequency or truly county-wide. |

The audio sounds good but when the tones start, they sound like they are under water. |

The system was shut down Thursday evening around 2000 hours. Obviously more work to be done. |

The new UHF is patched with a 46.46 receiver, you’ll hear fres and whatever Dept is activating within its receive range... They’re not actually using the new freq yet. |

Uhf paging west is active for the depts that are all uhf paging. As time goes by, you’ll hear more and more. When the county has accepted the system and it’s 100% online they will add a PL to it, so that will eliminate any outside interference. |
