Yes FM mainly use the P25 system also im not positive on this (i suppose "insiders" can confirm this) but they may have 800mhz radios in some of the trucks and will use their old talkgroups from the Edacs system on occasion Not quite sure what the reason would be - i would guess perhaps during very active jobs for somewhat on scene ops or as alternate to the P25 system FM is dispatched by Firecom and i have noticed that Firecom monitors or has dispatchers on some of the 800mhz fire talkgroups [ Edited Thu Apr 12 2018, 08:28pm ]

What a pain in the ass the NY state is. It would be nice for them to drop a tower site in Nassau and Suffolk and utilize the Metro 25 system.
