According to the map here [link] Long Island is region 1. The db shows statewide, region 3 and 5. Anyone have any freqs for region 1? Seeing their vehicles around Suffolk more frequently. Lots of antennas on them also.. Al I have found is HF and vhf lo

They do have some lowband freqs and whatnot but from what i understand they rarely use them
If they still have a base in Suffolk they may still do radio checks on 45.16 from time to time [link]

The multiple antennas on the vehicles are most likely for inter ops on various local trunk systems - for example they have access to a TG on the NYC 800mhz system ...
