Today I came across 852.7375 with a NAC of 3C4. My PRO-668 can pick it up with all four bars, but I cannot hear any audio which tells me it's encrypted. Any idea what this is?

852.7375 is a Suffolk County P25 system frequency for Site 4. 3C4 is the NAC for that site.

Always remember to check the trunked systems and the corresponding site NAC when you come across something like this.

Is the Pro-668 the same as the PSR800? Asking because if it is the same or similar then i think if something is definitely encrypted you may hear something like a telephone "busy signal"

It's very similar to the PSR800. However, there are three audio choices for encrypted signal reception:

- Digital Noise
- Audio Tone
- Silence

I have mine set mine to "Silence" so I don't hear anything when the scanner stops on an encrypted transmission.
