Melville notifies Nassau MedCon when they transport to a hospital in Nassau County, typically Plainview or Syosset. Until now, they've been one of the only departments still using the old MED 9 and MED 10 channels.

Melville transports to Nassau hospitals, as does East Farmingdale. They both border Nassau County. Were they calling into a hospital?

Silly question but if the T-Band buy back occurred, what’s that mean for this system?

Good question - if i had to take an educated guess i would say they most likely keep the 7/800mhz freqs and just ditch the 500mhz freqs all together...

I heard a bit of info today that there are some people who are from out of town using radios on the system to help support COVID-19 medical responses. I wonder if they have anything to do with that?

Interesting - i was wondering if the county was going to do any mutual aid similar to NYC

Another one is TG 10011 with 790xxxx RID's

I was seeing activity on these TG's a while before the virus however
Some 20xx TG's but i am not sure if it was 2007 exactly (I think a couple of them were TG 2006 and 2019 but i didnt log the RID's on those)
And yes all of these are enc
