I've been googling with no luck. Does anyone make a UHF monitor like the old school Plectrons? I want to stay away from a pager in a charging dock unless I have to go that route. Thanks for any info!

The Federal Signal Informer is the modern day equivalent.

Veetronix also makes an alert receiver, although it's nothing more than an older model analog Uniden scanner with a tone decoder board and custom front panel.

You can also buy an actual Plectron from Bob Wallace...he's a great guy and he does his own repairs/refurbs/mods to those beautiful old school receivers.

GTR8000 That good info.

Ebay has Federal Informers less than $100.
