I know Long Beach dispatches for themselves, Lawrence Cedarhurst , Woodmere, Inwood and Atlantic Beach Rescue. I am not sure if they use one common freq for a tone out or not. I know 230 has it's own freq which they tone out on.

Long Beach tones out and uses their own freqs, available on radioreference.com, but the depts Long Beach FD dispatches for as said above use below, info also from radio reference;

453.16250 PL 351 3B West Alert 3rd Battalion West - Dispatch/Paging
453.68750 PL 565 3B West Ops 3rd Battalion West - Operations/Response
460.52500 PL 423 3B West Ops 2 3rd Battalion West - Operations 2

Thanks for the info. Do you by any chance have the two-tone codes for them? I know they are doing some dual alerting now for certain alarms. Do they stack the tones or alert with a common dual response tone now?

That I'm not sure. They do all run together with a lot of mutual aid for structure fires, water rescues etc. Not sure about how they tone out separate or if there's a common shared mutual aid tone or paging scenario. A FD member out there or a LB dispatcher might have better info.

This site has some Nassau & Suffolk dept. tone out chart/ with the tone info that actually alerts the pagers. Some if it is correct, some of it is off by just a little or some is just wrong or out of date.

If your just programming a scanner that's fine, but if your programming pagers or radios for a FD, I would advise you to contact their radio vendor for specific correct info.

Yeah, just for leisure. That chart works well but its a little out of date, (Hewlett, RVC, 3rd Batt West).

What is out of date?

With low band phasing out and more and more depts going to UHF - there have been a lot of freq changes.

The tones. Some are missing/ have changed since it was put together...most depts who went to UHF kept the same tone sets/simulcast on low and uhf.

What departments or exact tones are you looking for? I sold some pagers down in the 3rd batt and have most of the tone out information for the battalion.
