Not sure . All I know for 3rd division depts is whats listed below. They are labeled as tac and not dispatch so maybe 3rd division has 5 f/g talk groups?
10101 FD Islip 1 Islip 1 Fire-Tac 10103 FD Islip 2 Islip 2 Fire-Tac 10105 FD Islip 3 Islip 3 Fire-Tac 10107 FD Islip 4 Islip 4 Fire-Tac 10109 FD Islip 5 Islip 5 Fire-Tac
According to the template, Fire West 1 will be Huntington Babylon and Islip. Fire Central 2 will be Smithtown Brookhaven and Fire Island Fire East 3 will be Riverhead Southold East Hampton South Hampton Fire ground 4 West will be 5 tg's for the West and 5 for the East. No mention about and thing for central |

When you say "Fireground" are you referring to the County List that I posted in the excel format? If so the "Fireground" Channels are Simplex not P25 so there will be no Talkgroup ID'S for them. These are them: FG West 1 855.4875 FG West 2 857.0625 FG West 3 857.2125 FG West 4 857.7125 FG West 5 858.0625 FG East 1 854.9625 FG East 2 855.2375 FG East 3 856.2625 FG East 4 856.7125 FG East 5 859.2125
1. Keep in mind this is all new and is not fully in use and may never be in full use as many Dept's are established in the current Communication setup. This along with the 700mhz was a plan rolled out by FRES, the Chief's Council and Communication committee to modernize and have the capability to apply use in the future.
2. The Excel Template is for reference of the programming of the Zones/Channels in the APX8000 radio, it is just a reference chart for the user....

Looks like I will have to lock out 223 dpl on FG West 4 857.7125. I was receiving Suffolk Police 6th Precinct Simulcast from TRS on that freq.

Suffolk 800mhz Firegrounds are simplex (non-repeated)
FRES has assigned each dept a primary FG to use if they wish, my dept was assigned FG West 1
FRES has spread out the depts/FG as to not interfere with each other.
As the 800mhz portables are very expensive, most depts have or will opt to continue to use their own UHF frequencies for their Ops and FG. You might see these FG used on large scale mutual aid incidents.
My dept has opted to continue to use our own UHF for Pagings/Ops/FG. The UHF only APX4000 are less expensive. The avaerage FF has no need for a APX8000 portable which costs around 8K.
Some of our mutual aid rigs have (1) APX8000 portable for 800mhz use. Some newer rigs/all chiefs and purchasing going forward, we've opted to install the APX8500 mobile with UHF & 800mhz capabilities.

Correct. But I still need to lock out 223 dpl as I pick up the 6th pct on 857.7125 and they use 223 dpl
