| Got it punched into the scanner. So far, just a lot of NJ EMS dispatch. Will post here if I hear something on either frequency. |

Any other dinosaurs remember loading only 46.10 and 46.12 into their scanners and being pretty much finished with programing NC fire departments? Dispatchers would have to tell their units to, "Stay off the air unless urgent. Westbury (for example) has a working fire." My little Radio Shack "base" (LOL) unit could only hear most of the the sixth and ninth battalions from south Hicksville. 620 used signals 21 and 22 for "responding" and "arrived" and 930 would be "7" and "17" for the same message. I think signal 10 was shared but almost everything else was battalion designated. I forget when everyone got together and started using common signals.

| Do they still get toned out on UHF paging channel? I am pretty sure I pick them up on my scanner on that freq. |
