Some new fd related tg's were added to the db a few weeks ago under County Fire Talkgroups. Not sure if you saw them or not? [link]
I have had all the new tg's entered into Unitrunker and have not seen any activity as of yet. Maybe now that the chart you posted is circulating, maybe we will start seeing some activity on these tg's. I know a few weeks ago fres ops 2 tg 165 was carrying a good amount of Huntington traffic. |

I'm still trying to pull some strings with my contacts at FRES to get the TGID's..... I did hear some Huntington traffic late last week on TG 10051 while running "discovery" |

Do you know if the firegound channels are going to be on the system or simplex? Any idea when they will be going over to this? |

Ok, so I have all of the new TG's and all of the Control Channels for the Sites, Including Pt. Jeff, Montauk and Easthampton. There are a total of 6 County Sites. I just have to figure a way of easily sharing them when I have some time. All of the "Township" TG's are on the 700mhz simulcast system with the exception of Huntington 1 & Huntington 2 which is on the 800mhz simulcast system. Paging East & West are also on the 700mhz simulcast system, I don't know yet if those two systems are going to be linked or not, I guess time will tell. |

How do you have the info? On paper? If so, and you don't have a scanner/copier, you could take a pic with your cell and upload that here via the "Attach file / image"or to a pic sharing site like [link] and then just share the link. You do not need an account with imgbb. |

What "two systems" are you referring to? Are you referring to the 700 MHz and 800 MHz simulcast cells of the P25 system? If so, they are both part of one system, 3CE, and are intrinsically "linked" since they share the same core and zone controller. An ASTRO 25 system (Motorola's P25 brand name) doesn't care what bands the repeaters are on, all sites/simulcast cells are considered a single system, and the roaming of talkgroups between those sites is seamless, unless the system admin specifically disallows resources to roam across sites/cells/bands.
I know I sound nit picky, but I feel that it's important to clarify how these P25 systems with multiple sites/bands work, so that everyone has a better understanding of what they're dealing with when monitoring/tracking this stuff. |

Fireground channels should be simplex, not operating through the tower repeater system. |

Are the Suffolk FD's still going to operate on lowband or is this going to be where the County is going? |

Almost every dept in Suffolk has been operating on their own UHF frequency, I don't know of any that are still strictly using low band. The plan was or is that as of Jan 1, 2021 FRES will not be activating any Dept on Low Band 46.46. |
