I submitted TG 5051 (800 MHz) to Radio Reference it appears to be "Firecom 1".They were active on a TRT call. I believe that only the TRT and water rescue teams have been issued radios, as of now.

Also TG 21400 has been active lately
It would have bits of activity in the past but lately it seems to be regularly active
Pretty sure its enc so im thinking a village PD
Possibly Glen Cove PD because i havent heard much on their VHF freq recently

I'm still hearing Glen Cove on VHF. Alphabetically, I'm guessing 21400 should be either Muttontown or Old Brookville.

Oh ok interesting
Either way will be the last/one of the last villages to switch over
Pretty sure i have also seen one of the villages radio IDs on one of the NCPD precinct channels alot
So that may suggest they are dispatched by NCPD

Also it seems most of the talkgroups on the system now affiliate with all sites

I noticed some encryption being used on the Sheriffs enforcement TGs (TG 5010/5011)
Wasnt full time but i didnt catch the RIDs so not sure if it was the sheriffs dept. testing encryption
Or maybe it was just standard PD units on the TG

Also got some hits on TG 20103
RIDs were 850xxx#
Sounded like people directing traffic/ road flagging

I could be mistaken
but i am almost certain that i heard Medcom TG 6001 being simulcast on one of the UHF Med channels
467.950 PL 162.2 to be exact
Not sure where this is coming from or if its all the time or what
Doesnt seem to be running alot of power but the signal is OK
Noticed this a few times in the past couple weeks

467.950 PL 162.2 comes up in radio reference as an input to 462.95000 162.2 PL KUJ797 EMS Med-9 Hospital Notification EMS Nassau County

KUJ797 is licensed to NASSAU COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT but I do not see 467.950 listed on the license.

A search of 467.950 brings up WNZS830 and that also has 462.950 on the license.

I would think since your saying it sounds low power that you may be picking up the input and I would try 462.9500 with that pl and see what you get.

And remember that +5 MHz in the UHF band or +3 MHz in the T-Band is often an input to a repeater (obviously not always, there are plenty of simplex fireground frequencies in that range also).

When a repeater is in use:

Repeater Output | Repeater Input
450-454.99375 | 455-459.99375
460-464." | 465-469."
470-472." | 473-475."
476-478." | 479-481."
482-484." | 485-487."
488-490." | 491-493."
494-496." | 497-499."
500-502." | 503-505."
506-508." | 509-511."

What town are you hearing it in?

I'm in Wantagh and I'll listen as well. Do you also monitor 462.950 (Med 9)

467.950 is the input for MED 9 and 162.2 was the PL that Medical Control (NUMC) used on those channels.
