| | It's been awhile since I listened to the local towns...TOBY and Hempstead. Does TOBY still use those VHF frequencies listed in RR or did they move on to the county trunked system? Same goes for hempstead. I guess I really need to stay up to date with the local frequencies. And I think if my memory serves me correct that NYSDOT plows were last on VHF low band? After Nassau PD went encrypted I have really been ignoring my radios. Stay safe my friends.

| Town of hempstead plows on 453.675 NY state still using low band 47.06 seems to be active they may also use a couple UHF channels Nassau county plows on the P25 system As far as the other towns/villages I'm not sure probably some of them are on DMR/ digital trunk systems | | Back to top | | |
