plus the bandwith if its a 450-470 the 471 will drop out on transmittimg if im correct on this or wont program in at all

Well the HT1000 is for devin so tell him everything. And we called the FCC and they said nothing about it.

the fcc isnt gonna tell you on how the radio is gonna work or how its gonna transmitt with mixed freqs if anything they will lie out the ass....believe me it happened to me as for the gmrs freqs its in your best intrests to get a gmrs license cause if your caught using the radio on these freqs your bound to get stiff penalties and risk getting bthe radio taken away.....just a note from a friend....think before u act.....just my point of view

If you spoke to someone at the FCC who misunderstood you - maybe to them it sounded like you wanted to put that frequency in the HT1000 to listen to it.. There would be no problem there..

BUT - if you wanted to transmit on the frequency, then it would be trouble, for the reasons that I, and others, have stated above....

Just because someone told you that there wouldn't be fines, doesn't mean you spoke to the right person to get the correct answer.
