tg 5018 on 800mhz

Keep hearing units calling central saying 10 37 from, then a bank name like chase citibank and wells fargo.

Radio id's are 810XXX and 5001 and 5002

10-37 that would be a Sheriffs dept 10 code and 5001/5002 are the sheriffs dispatchers
I havent heard anything on TG 5018 yet - interesting they would be going to banks
Do you have down whether the 810xxx IDs end in a 1 or a 0? That would tell if they are portables or not
Generally on the system if the last digit of the RID is a 0 its a portable and 1 is a base/rig radio

Reviewed the recordings and it was just rid 5001 and 810010 on tg 5018 yesterday. Just the one unit going from bank to bank. He then said he was 10 32 10 14

Tg 5020, Nassau Sheriff dept (rid 5002) to Nassau County Police dept, requesting a radio check. 5 X 5 replied rid 1012

Tg 5021 Caught a medical emergency this morning, and "edward 1 alpha" was mentioned. Anyone ever hear of edward 1 alpha? Unit? Cell block?
Rids were 5001, 818920 and 818620,.

Tg 5002 5005 and 5007 were patched together early am and are still patched as of 11 am..

I discovered / realized a huge issue with Unitrunker 2.0 yesterday and made a change so I am hoping for some better quality recordings today.

Yes the jail ops/tac TGs can get patched into main(5002) - not sure if its a full time thing

Edward 1 alpha does sound like a cell block and if Central(rid 5001/2) is dispatching then it most likely is unless TG 5021 could be used by the area of NUMC that is dedicated to inmates

Do you recall what unit number RID 810010 identified on the air with?

RID 810010 would call "central then say 001"

Been watching many of the 5xxx talk groups and do see some rids span across multiple 5xxx tg's. I will see if I can find a way to export all rids on each tg and get that over to you somehow. So far I have not been able to find a way to do this so I may end up taking screen shots of the users on each tg and go that route..

Unit 001 interesting - the only other unit similar to that i heard is "066"(RID 810660) on TGs 5002/5005
Most units on those TG identify with either 5xx or 6xx #
Sometimes they do identify with a Sheriff RMP but with a separate radio number for example "unit 27xx - radio 5xx"
I have heard RID 815580 identify as unit 2749
Another oddball unit is "250"(RID 812500) which i only seem to hear at night around 22:00 doing radio checks

RID 814160 RID 814230 as well as 818070 have all identified as unit 807 at one time or another

Heres some info about the system -
[link]

Seems that they have been having issues over the past few months - but i can confirm there was A LOT of testing the last couple weeks of december and it seems now the 800mhz coverage is getting better

As of today EDACS is still transmitting a control channel

Was at the hospital last week - some staff carrying what look to be Motorola dual band portables

The reason im thinking dual band is because the antennas looked longer than typical 7/800mhz portable antennas

TG 5030 seems to be an alternate NUMC channel with the 860xxxx IDs - its not used much

Confirmed that TG 5036 is Nassau DPW - heard them calling in to Bay park base during the storm

Yes, I've been hearing Suffolk PD command band on the following TGs for the last week or so. They seem to be on a different one every day.
