| Hello, I am new to scanning... and for christmas i bought my father a bearcat 346 xt model... I am not that tech savy and didnt realize i needed to buy a separate program and wire to install the frequencies... My father is retired NCPD and just wants about 20 channels installed... Is there anyone around long island that has this program and would be willing to just setup this scanner for a small fee? I bought the piece at RIM industries in Mineola....and although they were helpful with the features, they didnt tell me how tough it would be to setup... any help is appreciated...

I DO program radios, and I can program your new BC346xt.

I can put as much or as little into the scanner. I also make sure all of the firmware is up to date, and that your NOAA Weather alert codes are properly setup.
