All you need to do is enter in the control channels into the trunk system. There are no special flags or button presses to get that radio into CC only mode. You just simply enter the CC's and leave out the Voice Channels |

Scannerman, Your tables look wrong to me for Suffolk County. I use the tables on the front of W2LIE's website and they work 100%. I've seen W2LIE verify how they work and how he came up with the info. Interesting stuff! |

It looks like Suffolk is now back to only using the 850Mhz range of frequencies. I don't see the 866Mhz pre-reband frequencies coming up at all tonight.. |

I agree with W2LIE - it looks like they are still only using the REBAND Frequencies this morning |

I agree as of 12:33 PM. 85x frequencies only over all 7 precincts. Control channel 851.6875. Lets wait until about 5 PM or so this evening, to see if any 86x frequencies reappear. That's what happened last time we observed this. Control just switched back to 851.4125.

I agree.... that is why I didn't split the threads yet. If they are still using the rebanded only freqs tonight, then I will know they have been set in that mode for 24hrs..

I think it is pretty much safe to say that Suffolk is no longer using the "pre-reband" frequencies. I am still seeing them only on the 851.xxx - 853.xxx range only when I log the system using Unitrunker |
