GTR8000 wrote ... Try changing the Motorola 800 MHz setting to Normal, not Offset. As Dave notes, the scanner will not be able to follow all traffic due to the channel changes brought on by rebanding. Specifically, it will not be able to follow voice traffic on the four highest frequencies listed (852.400, 853.675, 853.800, 853.825)
Changing the Motorola 800 MHz back to NORMAL did help. Thanks for that.
Definitely time for a new scanner. |

I am trying to monitor the 800 Mhz system with Unitrunker but for some reason all the talkgroups are showing up in the 8000 range even though they are correct on the scanner. In Unitrunker I have tried switching between rebanded and normal settings |

What version of Unitrunker? You probably have the display options for Motorola set to "Motorola"...set it to "Decimal" instead. |

Here I am, back again. Thank you to the previous guidance given by members here. I pulled the trigger and bought a new Whistler TRX-1. Updated the firmware right away before any programming.
After setting up the 11 SCPD trunking frequencies below and the talkgroup IDs, the TRX-1 is scanning through and not locking onto a transmission, similar to what my PRO95 is doing. When I compare this to what the SCPDNY.com rebroadcast picks up, I'm seeing most of the TG's/conversations, VC & CC on my screen, but that's it, no audio. Any other suggestions or something I am missing from the more experienced members is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. 851.0625 851.0875 851.2375 851.3625c 851.4125a 851.6875a 852.2875a 852.400 853.675 853.800 853.825 |

I am not familiar with Whistlers but if there is anything like service types in there, make sure law and law dispatch are checked. I am sure someone will come with a better answer. |

Thanks for the info I changed Motorola to decimal and that seemed to fix the issue. I am using unitrunker version 1.33.6 |
