As of 9/12/10, it looks as if Suffolk County completed their Rebanding process.
You should now set your Motorola banks to "Motorola Reband" instead of using custom tables.
The Control Channels for this system should be: 0851.3625 0851.4125 0851.6875 0852.2875
If you need custom tables, I will post them later.
Again - as of 9/12, you no longer need the custom reband tables.
Thanks to hcorte for the info (he also scored himself some "gold" for the update!)

Yes, you can move Everything down 15Mhz, or just put in the 4 control channels that W2LIE posted. Just make sure to set the site to control channel only if you do that. |

I concur hcorte. It also looks like the control channel is now on 851.6875, confirming it as an alternate.
I will now make this a new thread, and close "Phase-1"
At 5:35 PM today, I started to observe some frequencies in the 867-868 range again. Prior to 5:35 nothing in this area appeared. I have been monitoring most of the day. I still have the "mixed" band plan in my scanner and can still monitor any frequency they throw out now. Perhaps we spoke too soon.

Yes- you are correct! I am watching the system now in Trunker, and I can see VC's up and down the band.
The Control Channel is bouncing around quiet a bit though...
I think I will merge the threads back togehter

now only seeing the 851 -854 band now only !
also picking up I-Call on this system now i08190
For the new system it should look like this: [ Lower Base / Upper Base / Offset / Spacing(kHz)
Plan 1: 851.4125 / 000.0000/ 0 / 25.0 Plan 2: 851.6875 / 000.0000 / 0 / 25.0 Plan 3: 851.0250 / 854.0000 / 440 / 25.0 Plan 4: 851.0125 / 868.9875 / 0 / 25.0

If we keep our custom band plans we'll be covered. That's why I didn't change mine yet.

I still see 867-868 frequencies……..7:03 PM Control is 851.6875. The plan you posted wont get the 867-868 frequencies because they have a zero in the fourth decimal place.
I believe this plan (I'm using it now) will cover anything they can transmit: (The first two lines are actually the new finalized band plan when re-banding is completed.)
Plan 1: 851.0250 / 854.0000 / 440 / 25.0 Plan 2: 851.0125 / 868.9875 / 0 / 25.0 Plan 3: 866.0000 / 866.9750 / 720 / 25.0 Plan 4: 867.0000 / 867.4000 / 815 / 25.0 Plan 5: 867.4250 / 868.9500 / 961 / 25.0 Plan 6: 868.9750 / 868.9750 / 958 / 25.0
PS…. The way they are switching things around today tells me that they are probably getting pretty close to completing the re-banding.
