I have a BCD396 and I must of hit a button or something because I no longer recieve the Suffolk County trunked system . I have it stored in bank # 1 of my scanner . I do recieve the conventional frequencies in that bank but not the Suffolk Motorola system . Any help is appreciated . I went to the Uniden web site and looked thru the online owners manual but I didn't see anything that helped .
Thanks , Don

Did you hit try pushing the numeral "1" button while in scan mode?
Did you set the radio up to monitor the control channel only? If so, push the side menu button, select " Program System",under "Select System" choose whatever you named the PD Trunk, select "Edit Sys Option",select "Set C-Ch Only" and make sure it is set to "On".
Good Luck

The bank is turned on , i went into the " program system" / "select system"/edit system option" but i do not see "set c ch only" . I love the scanner but this is driving me nuts.

Did you upgrade the firmware and reprogram the scanner for the reband? If yes, did you check the custom band plan?

I wouldn't even know where to start to upgrade the firmware . I was gonna try reprogramming it thru my arc xt program . I'm old school I guess , i'm used to the old program by hand scanners , when I bought the 396 it took me about a month before I had it up and running .

I'm guessing you didn't change the frequencies for the reband. Click on "Forums" at the top of the page and see the "sticky" at Scanner Radio - Long Island - Suffolk for more info.
