Today I was getting clear voice not "ENC" (on my display) but the radio could not seem to lock onto the modulation. Any suggested P25/ Digital settings ( BCD996T)

Also TG-11 (The only one I saw today)

Bob, this thread is tracking the progress of Nassau Police's new 500 Mhz P25 trunk system.  The frequencies are listed here: [link]

Currently, NCPD is using the same UHF Conventional system they have been using for years.  [link]

And the new 500Mhz system should be in place fairly soon for NCPD.

anybody have a BC346 scanner with the right way to program the nassau county 500 trunked scanner and how to do it ! select band plan custom band plan 1 - 6 set base lower input 500.000 mhz input upper freq 506.000 mhz set offset > input offset {ch.} ???? set spacing 12.5 or 6.25

I set my PRO-2096 as follows:

Lower: 72
Upper: 452
Base: 500.450
Step: 6.25

I'm using Excel to compute the step, frequency, channel assignments.  The channels align with what I am seeing on PRO96COM.
