Can anyone confirm the set-up of this system such as what frequencies should be entered, trunking tables, etc. Also, should this be set up as P25 Auto, LTR, MOT VHF/UHF.. I'm assuming P25 Auto but could be wrong. Thanks

Radio reception on the old system is horrible right now. The 1/7 channel is completely down and they had to switch to the SOD channel. |

Phil just to confirm- to set this system up in my scanner, I enter in all of the frequencies.
What system type is it? MOT VHF/UHF or P25 Auto?
Finally, what are the custom tables I should enter?
Thanks |

SHKESLER, The only advice I can give now is set it up as a P25 Auto. Enter in all the channels and see what you get a hit on.
If there is encryption on the system, you won't be able to pick those talk groups up. if you wanted to experiment, post this custom map in: [link]
This thread is for factual observations, not rumors. If something works for you, please post it so we can mark it as a working solution.
Good Luck |

Just heard units ask to speak to the radio office regarding help. Their extension is 8648 or 2648. I wonder if they could divulge any info... BTW- what are the first 3 digits of these numbers? |

So, is the entire system going to be encrypted? |

As of the info that I have gathered via several sources - and from my own monitoring, everything looks to be encrypted at this time.
HOWEVER - I finally logged my first talkgroup this afternoon that didn't have an encryption bit enabled.
I'm hoping to have something in place shortly that will dump the TG logs from the site to a live page on this website, so you can all stay up to date. |

Phil,
Was the talk group something like 11-01?
I saw an unencrypted talk group yesterday. It was really quick and then it was gone. |
