News item posted W2LIE.net will setup the "Special" feed this weekend to include the following agencies for Hurricane Irene:- Nasasu County OEM
- Suffolk County EOC
- New York City OEM
- Nassau County ARES
- Nassau County RACES
- Suffolk County ARES/RACES
- Nassau County SKYWARN
- Suffolk County SKYWARN
- New York City ARES
- Long Island Red Cross
- New York City Red Cross
Additionally, all Premium members will be able to listen to these frequencies in the PCR-1000 Remote Radio. You will be able to lock the radio onto a specific frequency or bank, or enter your own frequency. Using Mumble will allow you to hear the audio with almost no delay.The PCR-1000 will also include a group for LIRR, PD, FD, Long Island Power Authority, Red Cross, as well as others.If anyone has any additional frequencies they would like programmed into the Special Feed, please let me know.We plan on turning the feed up early Saturday morning, and users should access the feed and see it's status on this page: [link]As long as we have commercial power, the special feed will remain active.Be safe this weekend.73Phil / w2lie

As long as I have power and internet at my location - and my antenna stays on the house, this feed should remain "on-air". |

An update to the live feed:
145.310 has been removed from the scan list. They are carrying the "VoIP Hurricane Watch Net" from Echolink. Anyone interested in hearing this audio should listen to the K2ATT/K2SPD live feed located on the main Live Feed page
441.100 has been added to the scan list. I believe that NYC-ARES will be using this frequency. |

The PCR-1000 Radio has been loaded with LIPA / KEYSPAN and Red Cross. Additionally, the PCR-1000 has LIRR, MTA PD, NCFD, NCPD, SCFD, FDNY, NYPD, NYSPD, NYC Mutual Aid, JFK, LGA, and Media Banks. |

I see that the National Guard has been deployed to our area. I also hear that CAP will be operating after the storm to survey damages.
If anyone has any good frequencies for both, maybe we can work on putting those into the feed if I still have power after the storm. |
