Suffolk County Fire Frequencies.

These are the frequencies that are currently loaded into the Suffolk Fire Department Feed.

The sources for the frequencies are as follows:
Radio Reference's Suffolk County Database
Scanner Master NY Metro/NNJ Communication Guide - 7th ed.

These loaded frequencies are forever changing.
As I find new frequencies, they will be loaded in. I can already tell, that I need to update them again.

I do not have PL/DPL in this radio, so you may be getting something other than Brentwood.

46.46 is the county wide dispatch for Suffolk it goe all day and night Try renetering the frq this way

Both the Islip Freq's listed are OOS. The only freq used is fireground of 453.9625 DPL 346. Main ops are now on F-1 (46.44)

Today I updated some frequencies while on an extended break. The lindenhurst squelch tone seems to be 67.0 I also found bellmore/merrick ems to be on 465.1750 with a dpl of 243. FORGOT to mention the lindenhurst freq is 479.8250.On friday, I heard the bayville rptr of 465.1875 with a tone of dpl023.

East Hamp dispatches themselves, Sag Harbor, Springs, Montauk & Amagansett on 453.425 with no receive PL. They tone out Bridgehampton on 154.190

Then they switch to the East Hamp 800mhz trunked system for operations & F/G. I don't know if Bridgehampton switches to 800 after tone out or they stay on 154.190 or another VHF freq.

Coram tones out on 46.46. Then they switch to 154.145 for truck response/operations. They have 154.130 but I don't know what they use it for, maybe simplex fireground. They have a new UHF freq of 484.3875, but again I dont know what for. They might be looking into switching to UHF ops, being that most of the area around them & the county uses UHF for operations & fireground now.

154.445 is talk around too at the fires

484.3875 will be a computer / mot system it's only 10 watts !

476.0125 is Ch. 16 I believe on their radios and is considered their Chiefs channel. This is more of a fireground channel compared to the 471 which is more operations.

The commack freq 478.1750 is a frequency for Cvac to CFD. I believe the dispatchers use it.

As far as SCFd goes i see that Holbrook has four freqs what frequency is use to listen to the FD if they have a job. Also Holtsville has two freqs whixh do they use at a job

as per the forum...is this freq you posted the dispatch channel or the fireground channel....it would help considerably for us who view these posts....there still are conflicting posted freqs from scannerman and you (deviltim) 10.0
