There are 58 Pages on this Frequency in the FCC Data Base and Issued to Different Depts Across the Country

Wynandanch is # 565 *(page # 57)* out of 576 *(Page # 58)*

It Looks Like they are Vacating Low Band All Together / I Wonder How This Will Go for Any Response for Mutual Aids Dept Still on Low Band

Through the grapevine, I heard because of cost savings. Babylon Central is not cheap.

Well, whatever. I know that they’ll be saving a lot of money with this switch. BCFA charges a lot. And that’s what I heard around the campfire.

You can ignore everything kmilcar78 posts. It would be impolite to explain why in public, but suffice to say that nothing he posts should ever be paid any attention to.

I picked up on that real quick, thanks. There should be an age verification to participate on this site. Just saying....

Unfortunately it’s not an age-related issue...

I really wish there was a “Block User” function on this site.

I’ll miss low-band, but admittedly it will allow us to all use shorter antennas for scanning.

There will be too many paging freqs to monitor now to hear what depts have. What FRES should do, is give one of the old in-active Medcom Vhf freqs, like 155.175 or 154.415 and allow depts to simulcast or voice their activations on it if they choose to allow depts to have a “common” freq
