In your database under long island aviation the frequency 112.950 is listed as "republic airport unicom "
Just wondering if that is a typo and if it's meant to be 122.950 that is a common freq for unicom

The entry of "112.9500 UNICOM" is a typo and should be 122.95.
108 - 117.95 are used for ILS and VOR Beacons.

Oh ok I figured it was a typo
Thank you
I actually have been monitoring the 122.950 frequency and there is some activity
I don't monitor a lot of air band because most of the activity is just pilot jargon but some of the air to air and guard type channels can be interesting
Also if anyone's interested I've put together a list of the most active airband channels for the island
In nassau anyway I got all these on close call:
118.175
118.575
120.850
125.700
126.800
132.400
135.900

Don’t forget the LOM / IAF on 407 kHz that identifies as FR.

Do you mean 406 mhz ? And yes these are the emergency/guard channels ;
121.500
243.000
406.000
I'm not sure if the 406 is used on any other service or if it's strictly aviation related

406.000 mhz thru 419.9875 mhz is generally for federal trunked systems.
406.0 - 406.1,
§ 95.2963 PLB and MSLD frequency bands.
(a) The frequency band 406.0-406.1 MHz is an emergency and distress frequency band available for use by Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs). Use of these frequencies must be limited to transmission of distress and safety of life communications.
