HT1000 and Minitor III or IV

Is anyone selling a HT1000 UHF T band HT1000 at $150.00 that can program it an have it come with the charger and microphone. (Contact MBFD130.) If anyone is selling a Minitor III (3) or Minitor IV (4) UHF T band that can be programed and comes with charge under $175.00. (Contact CFD Justin) Thank you.

Justin - Regarding the Minitors you may want to be more specific as to the frequency you want to use. They do not cover the entire band just a small portion (I think its like 3 or 5 MHz). I just didn't want to see you get stuck with something that you can't use.

I don't know the MHZ range but the frequency would be 470.9750. For the pager. for the HT1000 the 4 freq needed are 470.9750 471.1750 462.5625 and 462.5875.

Agreed, this should not have been in the Ham Radio Section... Its moved to the correct location..

ALSO - I'm pretty sure its illegal to put FRS frequencies into any radio and legally transmit on them. FRS Radios were manufactured so they could not be modified, or hooked up to an external antenna. They are 0.5w only, and are narrow band channels.
If you decided to put FRS channels into your radio you could run the risk of interfering with the GMRS frequencies - and getting a nice fine from the FCC

FRS radios need to be both approved and they need to have an output power of .5 watts not higher than that

plus the bandwith if its a 450-470 the 471 will drop out on transmittimg if im correct on this or wont program in at all

Well the HT1000 is for devin so tell him everything. And we called the FCC and they said nothing about it.

the fcc isnt gonna tell you on how the radio is gonna work or how its gonna transmitt with mixed freqs if anything they will lie out the ass....believe me it happened to me as for the gmrs freqs its in your best intrests to get a gmrs license cause if your caught using the radio on these freqs your bound to get stiff penalties and risk getting bthe radio taken away.....just a note from a friend....think before u act.....just my point of view

If you spoke to someone at the FCC who misunderstood you - maybe to them it sounded like you wanted to put that frequency in the HT1000 to listen to it.. There would be no problem there..

BUT - if you wanted to transmit on the frequency, then it would be trouble, for the reasons that I, and others, have stated above....

Just because someone told you that there wouldn't be fines, doesn't mean you spoke to the right person to get the correct answer.
