Can anybody please let me know what an "IUT" is in this context: "Found and repaired an IUT in ignition lead." Thanks.

Since we are in antennas and reception - How about "Intelligent Universal Transformer" as used in a splitter/combiner/amp?

We are talking about a mobile radio (trunked) in a municipally owned vehicle. There were various problems, including an intermittent error message on the control head display and poor reception.

possible a bad harness going to the control unit from the head...bad pin to wire on either end...or possible bad ground
