| I noticed that Floral Park has a second frequency listed out to them? Does anyone know what it is used for?

If you mean 465.5375, that's the the repeater input freq. You need to be very close to hear it.

have you confirmed any of those recently? you have alot of things wrong and you are confusing 460.5375 with the question 465.5375
460.5375 dpl 423 is 310 (inwood) cross band for 46.32 i mean 46.20 mb 460.5375 dpl 054 is 120 (floral park) fireground north bellmore does not have a license for 460.5375 north massapequa does not have a license for 460.5375 but plainview has a 460.5375 license
the original question about 465.5375 is not a repeater input, it is a cross band
465.5375 dpl 054 is 120 (floral park) cross band for 46.32

I posted what's listed in Radio Reference, that at some point was confirmed as in use. If you feel anything is no longer correct, please scope it out, verify usage and submit to radio reference for change.
I can't confirm any of that as I am out in Suffolk. Maybe they use 465.5375 for something else. Hopefully someone out that way chimes in.

there is always unverified and incorrect stuff in radio reference even in the city listings, and it isn't worth trying to fix because it will only get changed incorrectly again
not my words either this comes from the older and wiser ones
the cross bands i posted including floral park 465.5375 are correct. i confirmed myself during the city mobex yesterday

I call bullshit on that claim that it isn't worth fixing the RR listings. Phil and I spend a lot of time trying our best to keep the listings current and accurate. No, we're not perfect, and from time to time some troll or moron comes along and submits garbage that slips through the cracks, but we try hard to vet that info first by reaching out to reliable local sources, or by posting a thread on RR or here on this forum.
If you don't want to contribute over there, that's fine, no one is forcing anyone to submit info. However to make it seem like it's completely pointless to even try...I'm sure many would disagree. |

Between this site and radio ref, there is a good amount of info. If nobody on this site thats in Nassau is watching, your post does not get seen. Posting in two sites could yield you more responses to the info your after.
And yes, GTR8000 and Phil, W2lie (the owner of this site) are both database admins on radio ref and do keep things as accurate as can be. And yes, I have been asked to verify things in my reach. If you feel stuff just gets changed to incorrect again, I would suggest encouraging the "older and wiser ones" to grow a set of balls and speak for themselves.
