I hope someone who knows what is going on will post an update. I know that Phil had a serious health issue a couple of years ago, but I wonder how he is and what the status of the feeds is. Some info for all the loyal followers of W2 does not seem to be an unreasonable request.

I had a several year battle with Stage 4 cancer and I'm dealing with medical issues and side effects from treatments, plus ongoing recovery.
On top of that, we decided to redo our basement a year ago so everything had to come offline to be packed away.

Last weekend I was able to bring up /scpd and /scfd-west.
Last month, the computer that supplied /ncfd-west died. A new computer is now online but access to it has been limited.

I don't know what is going on with the live feed page, but as of right now these are the feeds that are online and connected. They might be showing as offline but I dont' know why that is.

My day to day energy levels suck and is nowhere near where they were prior to cancer treatments. I go to my 9-5, make dinner, sit in my brand new medical device for an hour to help with some side effects, and go to bed. I'm doing the best I can with what I'm able to do.

I am hoping to have some more feeds online soon and to move the scpd feed over to an SDR solution now that they are on the P25 system and the scanner running that feed does not like to play with simulcast. Even with loads of attenuation (no pun intended) some of the activity can be hit or miss.

When I do have energy, I have been focusing on " Scanner School". You can check that content out on the main social media platforms.

Phil, I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that you are recovering. I wish for you a speedy and continued recovery and a swift end to all the other medical issues you continue to have.

I am also thrilled that you responded to my postings. We have communicated by text (9542751634) on a few occasions but I posted here because I was not sure if you were able to respond to text.

You are correct. The feeds are online, but not showing. Since your 1st reply on Wednesday, the 4th, I have been listening a bit using Windows Media Player. I built this computer in 2010 and I am still running Windows 7. The motherboard is an M4A89GTD Pro. It was a bit advanced for its time and is, surprisingly, still getting the job done, but it does have its limits given the advances in the last 14-15 years. I typically wipe the hard drive and do a fresh install every 2 years or so but had not done so since just before the end of Windows 7 support. I was concerned about getting all the updates after reinstallation. But, because of how long I had been running with W7, it was starting to act a bit funky so I decided to bite the bullet and just go for it. Turns out getting all the necessary updates was not a problem at all. I had not yet reinstalled my favorite media player, Winamp. I will do so soon. And the best thing is that now there is, finally, a brick and morter store, Micro Center in Miami, I will be building myself a nice new computer in the near future.

Phil, do what you can, as you can. No doubt you want to be as you were before, but the real concern is your recovery and, you will get there.
