Thanks Dave, I saw that on the RR list. I was actually gonna start a post on here asking what that was exactly. I hear the Helo's get dispatched on Command Band, what is this TG exactly? |

It seems when there's a medivac they go on this tg. I'm guessing its purpose is to keep the traffic down on command band. I also wonder if any ems thats on 800 trs uses this to coordinate landing zones...It used to be detective surveillance.. I stumbled upon this during the funeral for FDNY Lt. Rich Nappi.. |

I know my agency's radios don't have that TG in them. It would be great though! |

It would make sense for ems to communicate with the helos regarding medivacs ... |

Maybe let the flight medic know what they are walking into...BTW is there ever activity on the "Marine Tac" channel? TGID: 624. I frequently change my TG's and can never decide which ones to keep/delete.

I heard something on there a week ago but its usually silent. Maybe as boating season picks up, it may become more active.. |

Just heard them say "Helicopter 2, switch to Aviation Medevac" I bet the fellas over at Aviation are enjoying having their own channel! |
