Yes, heard the same as well.... There's been a lot of testing going on on the Huntington 1 TG this past week. Time will tell how the usage of the new Talkgroups play out in the new year. Also FRES has been Toning out more Departments on UHF West over the past week. |

Any activity on UHF Paging East? Last I heard they were having interference issues with Nassau County Firecom sharing the same freq for paging |

Nothing on paging East. The county is in process of licensing a new frequency to replace the 453.875. Too much interference with Nassau co and CT |

Awesome. So now, all the pagers and radios have to be re-programmed. This is why the freq needs to be tested for a while before being placed into service. I'm very surprised the FCC licensed Suffolk to this freq knowing Nassau was on it using multiple high powered transmitters on the same freq for the same purpose.

The blame goes to the frequency coordinator, not the FCC. They will essentially grant a license to just about anything a coordinator signs off on, provided the application follows all applicable FCC rules. |

Either way, it's a pretty big error. |

Does anyone have any knowledge of the ID's for the F/G talkgroups? I've looked everywhere and haven't had any luck. |

What id's? The radio id's or talk group id's? The tg id's are listed in the radio reference database. |
